That... is awesome.
So the Decepticon symbol is the face of the fallen, or based off of it? This looks really interesting.
Is there more going on in the picture than Megs sitting in the corner?
As that's really all I'm seeing.
The Fallen is Soundwave?
Interesting, very interesting. Looks like the slab scene in this one:
Maybe the Fallen is the one that brings Megs back from the deep.
Looks kind of emo for Transformers, like a church-redemption scene from an anime
VERY intriguing indeed.
So, the Fallen's trapped in this triangular slab ala General Zod, the slab is likely buried in Egypt (probably under the Great Pyramid), and the whole movie deals with Sam and the Autobot's search for the Fallen, presumably after he comes in contact with a portion of the slab (or the remaining Allspark fragment) and starts having visions revealing the Fallen's location.
At least, that's as near as I can figure based on the tidbits of information we've gotten.
Sounds like a simple enough but solid plot for a popcorn action movie.
So I've been told. Rather, that movieversewise, the Decepticons based their symbol off his head.
And looking at the cover, I can also believe that Megatron was his 'apprentice'. Join the dark side, we have energon cookies!
Very intriguing-- sure wish they had a bigger picture of that cover, though.
Nah, in that cover they're just communicating via Interociter.
You get bonus points.
That works too but I want a damn General Zod reference.
OK, Zod bursts out of the triangle and runs amok, rearing up and bucking continuously until someone pokes it in the tummy with a stick.
Or were you talking about the "Kneel before" guy?
I'd be perfectly happy if someone said "Kneel before Zod" at some point.
Interesting cover if you ask me.
so hang on... when the movie rolls around is megatron gonna already be back?? i dunno when the comics take place but im assuming its after the end of the first film and before the start of this one. unless this picture is part of the movie comic adaptation itself maybe..
I would love it if Terence Stamp voiced the Fallen. Well I'd be happy with Stamp in anything really, lol. So if Megatron finds an artifact relating to the Fallen and attempts to engineer his return, what does that mean for the rumours he's teaming up with the Autobots to defeat him? Or they in a limbo realm? I'm certainly more looking forward to reading Defiance than finishing Alliance.
maybe its the other way around, the fallen engineering megatron's upgraded return in return for allegiance, as with unicron in the 86 movie
