They're making them for original Devastator and for the ko one !!!
So they just made them bigger? I'm still not going to bite on Crazydevy's stuff, GIVE ME A BOX SET!!!
Hmmm...what is the difference?
Besides being bigger, but if you look at the original Dev, the right (Scavenger) forearm is set slightly more to right of his chest wing. Broncrusher's side is slightly on the inside of his chest wing. This should make him look more symmetrical (thankgod) and also gives him a beefier look (which I'm fine with). I just wish they would have released everything in one complete set versus part by part. But I'll definitely be getting them all.
yep, me too, me too. you said it bro. i not buying them all separately. maybe a full set.
So it just comes with the forearm part and not the hands it shows? That's silly.
Man I really like the upgrades for Devastator but cant bring myself to spend the prices they are asking for each piece. I agree we need a box set of all the parts.
The new parts appear to replace the parts on Scavenger and Bonecrusher that the old arms connected to, which as it says, makes it more symmetrical and probably gives a more solid elbow joint than the original ones. Old ones had a tendancy to work themselves loose.
With talking with CrazyDevy and coming to an agreement with them about doing early reviews for their products, they've also given me some good information regarding possible box sets:
Regarding the production of the combined sets, we’ve also received
similar requests and comments from different parties and Devy fans,
we’d certainly take this into consideration for our future projects.
For the time being, we’re still at the stage of trying out the
development of individual items to explore the popularity of
They also now have on their site a listing for High Quality KO sets for their latest CDMW-008:
CDMW-08★ fit for high quality KO only
How to distinguish?
Original: Bulldozer's green post (connecting to forearm) with 4mm diameter
KO: Bulldozer's green post (connecting to forearm) with 5mm diameter

I just bought this, its pretty damn amazing. If you have a compete G1 DEV, he deserves it!
You can get a complete G1 devastator for less than the sum of all the crazy devys parts. I'd pay at MOST $40 for everything.
$130 for a complete set is why he is called "Crazy" devy.
In hand looks way better than pics and after putting it all together... Just WOW!
Now, I have a legit reason why I purchased the KO Devastator a few months back rather than just having it for comparison reasons.
My original will stay original and my KO will have the upgrades... Kinda cool that the packages for the upgrade parts fit inside the KO box with no problems.
I'm very impressed by this upgrade and it's well worth it to see the end result of Devastator... BIGGER, BADDER & MORE CARTOON ACCURATE!!!
Truly does justice to Devestator and IMO, this is money well spent.
by the time they are done there will be no use in owning a g1 devastator to use these, they improved everything else, so they might as well just improve the constructicons themselves
Well, it's their business model. I've bought several 3rd party items, and I understand as a given that items of quality are more expensive, but to me this seems overpriced when compared to other offerings. I won't buy any of these until they reach the $50 level as a box set. There are too many other cool things that actually transform for the prices Crazy Devy are asking per upgrade (or 2 of their upgrades). Yes, it's cool looking, but my wallet won't be opening for this anytime soon. Instead, I will be satisfied with other people's pictures.
Please take the time to photograph all these upgrades on Devastator
Even better, here's a link to a recent review of all the upgrades...

Seems like they didn't update their order forms properly. I selected the CDMW 08 and the confirmation message after I sent it shows it as the CDMW 7a which are the blue pile drivers for Frenzy...
Me 2, I would totally buy a g1 devastator it these parts were $40 bucks. but it is a fan company, can't complain too much.
He's obviously not as big as fansproject but I feel like their price range is perfect for third party stuff. As an example MAIDEN JAPAN released the original hammers for rumble and frenzy and included a free replacement head for soundwave for $50 total. Each of devys sets are $50 a piece which is just greedy by comparison since his are mass produced. It feels like he's taking advantage of TF fans with these devastator parts.
