I love jablonskys transformers scores though ripping of mind heist from zack hemsey in DOTM was a bit of a bump in his career at least imo. He has though done some amazing original pieces for the first 3 films but I think we need someone whos familiar yet new for when ever TF4 comes around. Perhaps Brian Tyler ? the guy has done transformers prime etc and I think it would bring a fresh sound to the new movie when ever it happens. In case your not familiar with Brians work heres a few links.

I like Steve Jablonskys. I'd be fine with more of his work if he did some of his next score like DOTM and some like the first film.

And you will now read the rest of my post in Ian McKellen's voice.

OMEGAPRIME22!! DO NOT TAKE STEVE JABLONSKY AS A COMPOSER OF CHEAP TRICKS. He is not trying to rip off anyone. He's trying to help us.

You will now read the rest of the post with my normal voice [Jared Harris].

The music barely has any similarity with Mind Heist [yes, it is very obviously inspired by it, but to say it is a rip off? That's strecthing].

Besides, Jablonsky is an excellent composer, "Arrival To Earth" remains, to this day, one of the best pieces of score in the history of mankind.

Are you kidding? Why fix something when it isn't broken? Jablonsky's work is great and I see no reason to replace him.

It's not that easy for composers to make the jump from television to feature films.

The only score collaborators I could possibly want doing a TF movie other than Jablonsky are Daft Punk. Seeing as how THAT'S not going to happen, Steve is the man.

Jablonsky score is the only good part of the movies. I don't know why one would want him replace because of that Inception song considering all blockbuster movies rip off each other for soundtracks and more anyway. Didn't TF1 have a song with the terminator theme mixed in?

:lol  at the resounding "NO!" responses. Good stuff.

But seriously, his music is one of the undeniably awesome things about the franchise. I enjoy AWESOME movies with AWESOME musical scores attached (Thor, X-Men: First Class, Clash of the Titans, etc.), but Steven's scores for the three Transformers movies have got to be the most AWESOME of the AWESOME movie scores that I've heard. :bay

And as for the whole "bump" in his career, other than us nerds arguing about it on the interwebz (and Hemsey's reaction to it), I haven't heard much come of it. Any legal action been taken to our knowledge? Has Steve been arrested? Copies of DotM banned from stores?

However, if for some reason we couldn't get Steve back, Brian Tyler would be good too. He's done great blockbuster scores, but also smaller scale television work too.

Brian Tyler has scored many feature films such as The Expendables and Rambo. He even did the score for Modern Warfare 3.
