Also, the collectors club has asked websites not to allow scans from it to be posted.

 

There is a HUGE difference between posting images of a toy you own (Even if it is pre-release...I'm hardly one to pass judgement when it comes to that debate) and posting scans of a magazine. Magazines fall under copyright protection, as does the license given to Master Collector (or Toyfare, or Action Figure News etc) to display the Hasbro images. Posting those images is a direct violation of that copyright and could put sites like this in legal trouble, not to mention the previously mentioned hesitation on Hasbros part to show future images through Master Collector or any other venue thanks to a few shallow fans.

And has been said, this isn't a democracy, It's 1 guys website...and especially since that guy doesn't want to get into legal trouble...he has EVERY right to remove whatever link he wants  

 

oh for fuck sake! if all people are going to do is argue over who has the right to show images/ how fair or unfair it is that those that dont by the mag dont get to see the images this thread needs to be shut down... now

i can sit here and complain about it but whats the use? it wont change a thing so why are people beating a dead horse?

right now with all the shit BOTH sides are spewing over this i wish nobody had mentioned what was in the mag. from now on why dont those who get the mag keep it to themselves or amoung those who get the mag... life would be a lot less stressfull!

I'm sorry about all the trouble this has been, but I could have sworn i've seen scans posted on all the boards at one point or another before. I won't be doing this at this site again in the future.

It hurts the entire fandom. these are NOT supposed to be posted. because of these leaks, hasbro isnt going to be as quick to put advance product images in the magazine anymore. and hell, you didnt even scan that. the image is the exact same one that was originally posted in this topic.

 

um, maybe because if its on their site, they are the ones who are in risk of legal issues? Collector's mag says no scans on anyone's sites.. yet you just put it up on this site!!!  :

There is no way it hurts anybody. The magazine is widely released. Thousands of fans see it regardless.

And I also stated I didn't scan it, but people should see it.
