I assume if you buy this, you dont get Classics Ultra Magnus with it.

Also, this upgrade wont keep the figure from being playable, will it?

Aside from the fact that it's incredibly well detailed and sculpted, the nicest Magnus we've ever had (nicer than Animated)? Do you even know what kibble is in the context of TFs? It's needless alternate mode pieces hanging off the robot that serve no purpose. RiD Sideburn is kibbly. BW Neo Break and Dead End are kibbly (hell a ton of BW Neo figs are). This isn't. This is an amazing piece of work.

Aww man, i just wished i could pre-order this too. but i've already pre-ordered the reissue Metroplex so funds are already limited.   damn!

 

Not the cost to us, I know damn near all of us that got the fig would have paid it, the cost to Hasbro of time work and money, sadly Magnus has become a cheap and easy repaint of prime to recoup the tool costs and given classics at the time was basically a filler line there was just no way the design team could justify doing that to the accounts section. It takes easy repaint to costly project extension.

You only get the trailer/armor. You will have to buy your own classics Ultra Magnus from somewhere else. But this City Commander kit also fits onto Classics Optimus Prime. It will still be poseable with the armor on.
