i just want to take the time to thank the news staff for not posting the spoilers on the main page. Although this would have been the kind of spoiler i wouldn't mind, i do remember being slightly angry and reading huge spoilers in news titles in years past.

anyway, hooray for wheeljack! hopefully he'll stick around and be a permanent fixture on the team.

 

I miss G1 when slews of new characters would appear. Often times, they weren't even named on the episodes, and I'd eagerly wait for the toys. Now it seems like hype hype hype for 1 or 2 characters. Wouldn't it kick ass if Megatron summoned Stunticons from Cybertron and Prime built protectobots to fight them...all in 1 episode?

 

Nah it wouldn't. What's the point in having a shitload of dudes if none of 'em get development? We already got eradicons for that.

 

Eh. I'll have to wait and see how it plays out, I was not impressed with the first part of this new show and I don't anticipate anything different from here on out.

Bulkhead and Wheeljack are old buddies..cool..but something tells me those two could cause a lot of trouble without trying too hard  

Glad to see these listings with info..my DVR listings are still TBA, but because I have TFPrime on series recordings..there's the little red dots during their time slot  

 

Heres what I bet happens bulkhead waits for his friend wheeljack to arive only to find hes a ZOMBIE EEEEEEEK. He then get bit and the other aoutobots have to find a cure before he becomes an undead warrior too. Just like every other show/movie involving zombies lol

 

Something with Wheeljack doesn't go as planned? There's a surprise of the week.

 

Not really IMO. Introducing ten characters per episode just for the sake of cluttering a few shelves is a sure recipe for creative and fan burnout. And don't expect any of them to have consistent characterization and voice acting. Or life expectancy.

I'd like to see a mix of the Beast Wars and Animated strategies. Beast Wars evolved a small core cast over time, killing some characters to bring new ones in permanently. Animated had a small, invariant core cast but a huge supporting cast and cameos galore. I'd like to see them try out several characters as guest stars and have the ones who really shine brought in later as permanent cast members.

 

This shows about zombies so I bet he'll be a zombie. they used the decepticon idea in armada and wouldn't it be funny watching wheeljack try to eat Bulkheads brain without a mouth lol. I don't think those blinking lights on the sides of his head were designed for biting

That's definitely Cliffjumper, the head on the top right is basically identical to his head.

I'm really looking forward to these new episodes.

Also a thought occurs...Prime has a mouth. What if Wheeljack does too?

Also, to address a previous comment, TF: Prime wouldn't be the first show to introduce a new character (or several) throughout the show at various intervals, not by a long shot. I believe someone from the production actually said something along the lines of "we'll be introducing new characters" before the first 5 episodes aired.

Ooh, a million muffins to the one guy who can guess my reaction when I read the news today. No cheating now.

 

Yep. Bob or Alex I don't remember who but one of 'em said that "characters would be introduced on episodic manner"
