Yeah, I think that first truck is a set transpot truck that just happens to be blue, and vaguely Prime looking.

The other one, that we actually see tear ass down the street, is clearly some kind of place holder for a CGI effect. What that effect is? I'm not sure.

 

I'm just excited about the possibility of a seeing a TF car chase.  

 

I'm gonna be optimistic and say that it's a stand-in for something that is NOT a truck. They may just be using the truck because it's approximately the same size as whatever will be edited in.

It's just my two cents, but I'm leaning towards the truck being a stand-in for Megatron's Flying Tank mode. There's the explosions coming from the cars it hits, and there's some AROUND the truck - Megatron could be angrily firing his Fusion Cannon.

 

Agree that is no autobot smashing cars like that and knocking them off the road..

what if its Soundwave alt mode.?

Got my fingers crossed that the matte-blue off-model truck is Motormaster, while the shiny blue Prime-shaped one is either a Prime stand-in or Magnus.

Really, all I care about seeing is Motormaster. King of the Road battle is far more interesting to me than Prime getting an obedient (albeit, unable to deal with it now) Lieutenant.

 

I have to agree with the above posters..lousy music and what's with the "shaky cam"? Don't drink Red Bull then try to film some TF action shots. 

Not even going to try and guess who the truck might be or what/who he's ramming into...I'll find out when the movie's released

Like others have said it's more than likely some sort of stand in, like when people wear green suits or stand in front of a green screen. It will probably be edited out and replaced by something else. I would guess something with a similar mass & something with wheels/treads, but you never know. Could be Sam shooting a Haduken outa his goofy arm thing we saw not so long ago (probably not though). It's fun to speculate. I wonder what the craziest speculation will be?

 

Motormaster would be cool.

I'm sure this is the spike truck, because if they actually did that with the real truck the spikes would break off.

 

Given the chrome and the trailer, this may have just been a truck that happened to be driving by that someone photographed.

 

I hope you're right. I was disappointed when Nelson denied the three Nascars are the Stunticons. Maybe this blue truck is Motormaster, while some are saying it might Ultra Magnus.

 

It doesn't look like anyone's mentioned it here, but they did over at shootfortheedit.com. Gonna put it to rest before it starts. The blue CGI truck is NOT the gold truck with the NEST logo.

 

Looks to be cool, whether or not he's appearing in it! If it's Ultra Magnus, sounds like a good addition the Autobots need!

theres probally a simple explanation for all this

the blue and silver truck will be optimus. all his paintwork will be cgi painted.

it was only a couple of weeks the original optimus was used in chicargo

shipping that same struck to india would take a month or so. its probally just to save time and money at the india end

 

Could be that they just needed something big to crash through everything to keep moving.... only to be replaced by a robot in the end.... a la Bonecrusher-esque. Does not have to be a semi.
