This is great work, and I think my favorites are the Stunticons you have on your blog.

In the works? He's already there! Menasor is a different story, though. I haven't really figured out how to make a combiner work. I have a Superhero Squad Sentinel, so I have a base figure in the right scale. Maybe some day...

These are some great ideas. Er, do you have any pics of the beast mode of the BM Primal KO? :)

Here a couple of pictures [robot mode and beast mode] of how he looked prior to painting him. The beast mode really just consists of putting an alternate head on. Nothing too amazing.

You stuff is fantastic. It's always a joy to see your new figures.

Given the repacks in the upcoming Movie Battle for the Allspark set (Mace Megatron, Brawl) , I'm going to try my first RH repaint.

What kind of paint do you use? Do you coat it when done?

Do you have a FAQ anywhere? I looked on your blogspot for info, but couldn't find any.

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Those RH customs are absolutely amazing, you did a great job on them! Very convincing of their respective characters. Loving Megatron and Rhinox the best. :)

Also, what is that KO BM Primal a knock-off of, anyway? The ape head's really show accurate, so it can't be Blast Punch, Air Attack, or the deluxe. Is it the McDonald's toy or something? Shit, I want one.

The KO Primal seems to be an original sculpt by the KO makers.

Correct. I'm not sure how they came up with it, but it came out long before a remotely accurate version of Beast Machines Primal was released.

As for tips and tricks, I use acrylic paint that can be picked up at Michael's, or in the craft section at Walmart. Can't remember the name, but they are usually less than $1 a bottle. Get lots of small, detail brushes, and be ready for your first repaint to come out less impressive than you had hoped. There are several failed experiments that have never been posted on my site. Just give it a shot, and see what happens. Don't get discouraged if you're unhappy with the results. Just pick up a new figure and start on that one!

You can pop the arms out fairly easily. Sometimes the pegs that attach them to the body rip, though, and have you have to glue the arm back on. That sucks. The heads can either be pulled or cut off, depends on the figure.
