Even if it is true, it will come from the same creative team as combiner wars.

The website is so userfriendly i could only get Megs and OP on my smartphone.
Would be great if Magmatron was in it.
The text is conflicting: "based on BW lore" and "taking place after BM are two different things".
Personally i would prefer a new take on Beast Wars rather than a continuation.
Seems doubtfull Hasbro would want this news to come from anybody but themselves though, so it sounds very fishy.

FUUUUCK! For a split second, I believed it could be true and that was all that was needed to get my heart racing. Not clicking on the article myself since, from what people are saying about this website, it's definitely clickbait, however, I could actually believe the details people are talking about. Transformers has been very uncreative of late, so I could see a BW series just being a straight up copy of the old one. As for dead characters returning, we probably would've gotten that in Trans Tech, if it wasn't canceled. Well, going by the toy line. But yeah, I'm still betting this is rubbish.

    I WANT to believe.

To be fair, even if it was true, i doubt it could match the writing of the original.

They would need to bring back the original voice cast as well!

    Kaye or bust.

Yeah this is a "Top 11 favourite BW characters" list without any relation to any new series. Hardly likely, especially considering the "quality" of Hasbro's latest fanwank series, that abysmal Combiner Wars Machinima.

    Meh, probably clickbait.
Taking this with a grain of salt, Hasbro might back put Beast wars back on Netflix at best.

I doubt this is true. I'd rather see Beast Wars Grimlock get his own spin-off featuring him and the other four Dinobots as Maximals.

    Oh yeeessss.
And Sorensen being involved would be cool too.
In fact forget some big shot prodigy superhero writer doing this, if Hasbro wants this they should just adapt BW Uprising into an animated series.
High ratings and critical aclaim guaranteed.

The more I think about the more i don't want it to be true.

Beast Wars is that rare gem where I really don't think you could make it better, outside of animation - and i really don't care how dated it looks

The story was great and the evolution of the story mixed with the balance of humour and mature tones was great (maybe a tad too light in series 3, but given how dark season 2 was, i can understand)

I might go as far as saying Beast Wars is the only TF cartoon that doesn't need to be made better.

As much as I love G1, i feel it can be revived and made better now that there's more attention to story and less on selling the merchandise. (sadly Combiner Wars and Titan Returns is our best opportunity for this, and they are so caught up in selling gimics, i fear they will be too commercialised - plus the writing needs to be better than what Machina gave us)

Animated NEEDS another season, it finished too abruptly, and was laying foundations for some great (alternative) mythology

Unicron Trilogy and RID (2001) were very hit and miss, and i could barely finish them, mainly due to how "Japanese" they were in style and dialogue. I feel the Unicron element can be revisited and take a leaf from the comics.

I know a lot of people love PRIME, but i haven't finished it, and i have struggled because i find the writing pretty bland. As great as the character explorations are, i hate the idea of Decepticons fighting with drones, and OP being the dullest walking vox-pop in the TF universe. I'll be interested to see what they do with the new season.

What I would love is for Hasbro to stop rebooting Transformers every couple of years, and keep following a more linear mythology that evolves rather than retells. I know it will NEVER happen, but i want new Decepticon/Autobot leaders, that we can compare with OP and Megs, newer characters (Machina is attempting this, and POTP - but isn't that just for one particular comic series?). Let's stop rehashing Bumblebee and Starscream. If we want to milk their worth, let's keep it in one universe. There's enough comic material to make the Transformers mythology rival some of Marvel's own mythology.

Of course, even cartoons like Spiderman/Batman/X-Men get rebooted, but they still honour the most iconic stories and keep them in each universe.

Lol sorry for rant, but i'm low on sugar.

Anyway my thoughts, and i know they won't be shared by most, feel free to debate :p

They already continued and ended Beast Wars - it was called Beast Machines, and it was amazing.

I never get the enthusiasm for reboots like this. Even if you despise BM, there are 52 episodes of BW out there, plus half a tonne of comics, with more continuing to pop up from time to time. Don't live up to this fandom's stereotype and ask for the same thing we had 20 years ago.

I would hardly call the 8 issues of Beast Wars comics a half ton. There's plenty of room for more fiction involving the characters.
