Check out this video of Conan O'Brien visiting ILM posted on starwars.com. He visits an ILM animator, and you can see Barricade in progress.

Please note that this is an NBC video, and it won't live in perpetuity on starwars.com. (But it will likely live on in Conan's blog here , in case you missed it).

Nice piece Pablo. I'm a big fan of yours from the SW prequel webumentaries. I'm glad Transformers trusted their brand to ILM.

Hey, no problem. I'm a big fan of tfw2005.com. It's where I get my daily fix of TF goodness.

Glad to see i'm not the only who is addicted :)  Nice piece, looks like Barricade has teeth while he's chatting it up in that sequence.

Hey Pablo, any chance we might see any other ILM/Transformers stuff featured on starwars.com? I'd love to see some interviews with the artists and the like.

We're trying! The difficulty comes not in access -- the artists are just a stone's throw away! -- but in timing. Starwars.com can't dictate the reveal strategy for Transformers, since that's up to Paramount and those folks. We're trying to let them know that we're an outlet for potential future features, and that there's an audience for it at our site.

We're hoping in the future that we'll be able to cover more general ILM stories since there's a lot of cool stuff that comes out of here.

It's nice to see all those Classic Transformers on the animators desk. It gives me hope.

Indeed, Lucas probably didn't even know about it and ILM brought it out just for Conan lol.

Was I the only one that noticed where the camera man took a brief shot of one of the computers and it was on "horny manatee.com"? What was up with that?
