This is the flip side from the cover to #1 where the bots looked bad and the humans looked good. I swear is it that difficult to draw both bots and humans well?

Eh? Prowl looks like the friggin' Mona Lisa compared to that Wolverine...and he's their character. WTF Marvel?

 

It's a good question of how they let that artwork of Wolverine get away from Marvel's approval desk. Makes me wonder if they're taking the series seriously. I'm not too happy with Prowl, either. He looks more human than robot. Maybe it's that his chest is way too short to be the hood of a car.

The more I look at it, the more I get pissed off. I might just have to print the image out and poop on it.

 

Even with the chubby Wolverine, I'm just not thrilled about this whole concept in general. Transformers seems to me like a property that lends itself to only some well-tailored crossovers. I'm not saying that the crossover isn't plausible in the comicbook world, but there's just something about crossovers like this that doesn't "work" with me. *shrugs*

 

I like how this artist did Prowl but Wolverine come on. He looks alot like Toad. And I have to agree with the person that said Grimlock would be a better team up with Wolverine then Prowl or Cliffjumper or Brawn would be better with Wolverine.

The Wolverine looks a lot like the art in the solo Wolvie book around maybe 92-93 or so. Can't remember the artist, but that was pretty much the style.

I do like the drawing of Prowl though. Looks too small in comparison to Wolvie though, even if he is supposed to be in the background.

 

Totally different artisit with a totally different style....

therre's tons of variaty, and most of it is way better than 10 years ago, i really don't know what went wrong with wolverine, this artist is usaully way, way better...
