I started today as a daytime backroom guy at a Super Target. It's a little overwhelming, because I'm not familiar with how the front store is set up. Hardlines 1 and 2? Huh? Anyway, anybody have any tips? Thanks!

Are you just concerned about the store layout? That will come with time. It's the same as any other target, just more of it. Being a daytime back room person, your main priorities are guest assistance pulls and CAFs. Do you know how to use NOP on your PDA?

NOP? Nope. I had a hard time understanding what categories I should be scanning, or in what order, or priority. They kind of threw me into the fire.

I have some advice...run and never work retail again.

No but seriously layout comes with time as does getting used to a job and the people above you should know that.

Hahahaha, reminds me of when my ex got her first job at a clothing store. It was her first day, she was still a trainee. They put her at the register, and disappeared. She had no idea what to do, no guidance, no help. It was also her last day there.

    hahahahahahahahaha
