the package is a lot more user friendly back then, I can remember when these were in shops always passing on fw jazz,waspinator and sentinel prime and they were really cheap too, Now going back into animated and trying to complete the line, these 3 have been the most expensive so far

The botcon figures would be a dream, but like you the prices are a bit to high, maybe oneday! luckly i managed to get a wingblade prime when it got released and its been in storage every since, i wouldnt want to pay the price people are charging for him now either

Just pulled out all my animated toys for a good dusting and i can honestly say, shit i miss how good toys use to be, i mean really things have gone down hill sense animated, i had to make room as well because i was lucky enough to find a pre earth ratchet, im on the fence about which one i like more though

 

Hey guys this is one of my favorite TF lines. However it's been quite sometime since I've handled mine. It's been 10 years since this line debuted. Any issues overtime with certain figures that stick out? I remember voyager Prime's automorph gears being tricky to align.

 

so far so good with my toys, i have most the toys as well, it seems the toyline has held up well, it seems its just the same old rules dont put arcee swords in her hands lol

still, no issues over the years yet

 

Swindle's arms is the most infamous one because of the clear purple plastics on his shoulders that weaken over time.

Omg im so sad, LOVED that deluxe and one day i pull it from where its stored and its purple plastic is crumbling. So mad....

 

Yeah, one of the elbows on mine snapped clean off about five years ago. No issues with any other of the Animated molds that I’m aware of.

 

I hope sooner or later they will reissue him with better arms.

 

I've gone through a couple deluxe Bumblebees, the ball joints that connect his arms to his body never last. It's gotten to the point where I have one for robot and another for vehicle. Not sure if anyone else experience this issue, but it happened to at least 3 that I own.

 

Thats why in siege, I love how they have moved away from ball joints. No siege figure has them and they are much firmer and better because of it.

I had forgotten about that the little socket where the ball sits cracked in the corner and it no longer holds his right arm. Grimlock’s arm also snapped from the clear plastic they used for the ball joint. What is it about Animated and arms?
