Not bad, aside from the arms. Can no one figure those out?

Apparently not. I thought your review made it fairly clear about how they were supposed to go, too.

I really wish I didn't feel like I'd be lowballing to offer $80 shipped for one. It'll get there eventually, just not soon enough.

Grimmy is looking to be my favorite Animated figure- i like the simplicity of the others and i am happy that they are going to be suitable for a large age range, but they are mostly "meh" molds.
but old Grimlock here, he is just reeking of coolness.
from that snagglepuss mug in dino mode to an almost reverent respect to the G1 mold in bot mode, he is looking groovy.
gonna get him when he arrives here.

This guy looks fantastic. I can't wait to pick him up. Any word if the other 2 dinobots (Sludge and Snarl) are ever going to make an appearance?

His huge, I'll give you that. But that's all I'll give you. Still don't like the animated series, but I'm one of a very few. The rest of you continue to enjoy them.

Very cool, although I wish he came with a G1-styled, double-barrelled blaster too.

Neat. The gaping chest hole still drives me nuts though.

the chest hole looks like it'll only be a problem if you try to pose Grimlock like his G1 dino-mode. Otherwise it's the same as turning over a car TF and seeing a robot head.

More than likely I'll be only buying only a few figures, and Grimlock will possibly be my first Animated purchase.

I have a question for those who already own the figure. Can you pose his mouth? I mean is it possible to move his jaw down and have it stay that way?

You'd have to disable the chomping gimmick, but it could be done.
