Done a quick search and couldn't find any mention of this, but sorry if it's known. I've just been scouting Amazon.co.uk and they are listing volumes 5 and 6 of Animated to be released on DVD here in Blighty on 30th November. I now cannot wait.
I do remember September was bandied about for the next DVD to be released, but November is good enough.
My guess is that they're aiming to tie-in with RotF's DVD release. Such as was the case with releasing the last batch of releases coming out just before the cinematic release.
I'm waiting until they're all out in the vague hope a complete boxset might then appear. Either that or the single discs will be discounted right down by then.
Yeah, what the heck is taking so long to even announce the release? Get it done already so we can complete our series sets and start the moving on process...
I can't stand this "putting a series out piecemeal" bullshit; I refuse to pay a regular DVD price for a handful of episodes. Bring it out as a set of season-by-season box sets, or I'll be sticking to what I DL'd when Dark Prime (I think?) put the torrents up. If they can do it with Beast Machines, they can do it with Animated.
I would like everything in box set form, to be honest. Beast Wars, Unicron trilogy. Where in the name of God are they?
Sorry to restart this, but there is now cover art for the two new volumes on Amazon.co.uk. Can't post the pictures and any links would be to the WAP site as I'm on my BlackBerry. However, do a search for "Transformers Animated vol 5" and "vol 6" and you'll get them. The titles of the two DVDs are to be "A Fistful of Energon" for volume five and "Black Friday" for volume six.
