I couldn't give less of a crap about the toys themselves, but if this means more bonkers Alternity prose, bring them on!

I REALLY hope this sparks a rebirth of the line but as mentioned in that article it could be a similar thing to the BT "last push" before the molds are put out to pasture.

Can't say I'm too bothered about repaints though. Not a fan of the Megatron mold and already have 2 versions of the Bumblebee mold (in Bee and Cliffjumper). Goldbug maybe?

Oh that, it's just an old grey resin prototype picture, there aren't any pics of the new repaints. You're not missing anything. :)

I'd buy GT-R again, but probably not Fairlady Z...unless it'll be another character.

Any news on Alternity is good news. If they ever actually do new molds, then I'd love to see a Hot Rod and Arcee. (Wildrider/Blackarachnia repaints?) That line just had so much potential for cool stuff - it'd be tragic for it to go to waste.

Alternity was announced as done & dusted with the Seeker moulds - bar, it seems, these last-gasp guess-who random repaints.

Black Bumblebee (for the Swift mould)? Always seemed a shame we didn't get the third, black repaint version the way we did with the Convoy & Megatron Alternities.

Can't imagine what other colour they'd realistically want to repaint Megatron into, so perhaps a new head mould and a new character is in the offing for that one.

I would kill for a green and blue version of the Swift mold. It's a completely shit mold, the sliding hinge being utter crap in the 3 copies of the mold I own, but I would kill for an Alt. Tap-Out and Glyph. Seriously, that would be so cool.

As for the Megatron mold, give me Drift/Deadlock. Nao! ;)

I'd take a bright purple megatron with orange trim as a Galvatron. Can't see them doing that, though.

For the Swift, Goldbug is interesting, but I'd be more into a white "Bugbite" version.....it would probably look sweet with some reprolabels.
