Well, I sure am glad to see quite a few people not like this Alt. Hopefully that means it'll be easy to get ahold of one of these bad boys.
I would rather he have real arms than pile drivers. That is just my opinion, though. Now, if he had real arms that transformed into pile drivers, that would be the ultimate. But I know that's asking for a lot.
I don't think it's asking for too much, they pulled that off to my satisfaction on CYB Scrapmetal/GF Rumble, ii think they could have pulled something more exciting off with Alt Rumble. (i still wish we'd got the concept art Rumble we saw frm the UK toy fair, it was a much more interesting design ~ but i can easily imagine it might have had too many stability issues with the front and back of the car as the forearms...)

If that's how you want to look at it, go right ahead. I'm just saying why I'm not buying the thing. Errr, no. Comic Rumble sent vibrations through his legs. He stayed put on the ground though. This is explicitly stated in issue #3.
I'm thinking that design is one that looks better on paper (an illustration in this case) than it would in plastic, considering the whole front and rear of the car became arms in that design, and the rest of the robot body came out of the midsection somehow. I did like the idea of wheels becoming the ends of the piledrivers though, though that probably would've negated a steering linkage.
