I wonder if this series will tie into Spotlight Mirage in a way.

Hmmmm....don't know whether to take this as indication that Mirage is the traitor or that Ironhide still just thinks Mirage is the traitor. I hope we learn the identify of the traitor before Issue #7.

Maybe bombshell planted a cerebro-chip on him.
By the end of it, Mirage and Cliffjumper will be frolicking on the floor together.

Art direction in AHM seems to want to have a Dreamwave-style feel, especially with the replacement of E.J. Su's designs with more toy-based/familiar designs.

Same cave, same Autobots, same accusations. Two issues later.

    This is ONE slow-moving series.

Well they have to fire each new character in a kiln for 24 hours. Of course it's going to take a while to progress the plot.

Yeah, this cover is a bit repetitive compared to the last one.

I -REALLY like the content of this cover though... it fits perfectly with my vision of both characters. Not to indicate that Mirage is the traitor, but that Ironhide and Mirage represent two extremes in attitude and ideal, and under stress, I could totally see this confrontation happening.

All it would take is for Mirage to make a smug, aloof comment about Prime's fate, and Ironhide would be up in his grill in an instant, administering an old-fashioned boot-camp aft-whomping. Nice.

Yes, count me as one who has noticed both of these trends, and is not happy about it.

I miss EJ Su on this title...

I think it has more to do with the fact that the storyline tries to incorporate damaged autobots that have gone untreated for a while, rather than anything different in art direction OR toy-on paper designs.

I'm pretty sure this is what's going on. It's actually quite obvious if you've been reading the series.

Great cover but at the same time long-time comic readers know that covers to comics rarely depict accurately what's happening inside the comic itself. I really hoping Mirage wasn't the traitor.

Tracks! is his Alternators self! Woohoo! I'm actually liking that they are switching to toy designs for this series although Alt and Classics mixing is mixing me up a bit

I think you're right. This confirms only that Ironhide still thinks Mirage is the traitor.

Man, I'm tired of this series. If it doesn't vastly improve by issue 6 (which is as far as I've preordered it) then I'm dropping it. I can always pick up the Vol. 2 TPB if I feel I've missed something, but so far all I feel is great regret for picking this up in the first place.

Is it just me, or does it look like Mirage is about to puke? It's nice to see another comic Sunstreaker that shares some details that Universe Sunstreaker got. Cliffjumper looks kinda weird to me though.
