His method of searching through Wal-Mart computers is legit (if my memory of doing so nearly every day for a 6 month period is accurate, though I haven't worked there since August).

    DOUBLE POST, sorry guys........

On the contrary, any mold will work with dicast. it's just a matter of placement of said dicast and joint construcion.

i dont think the listing is for a titanium cosmos, but rather the deluxe classics cosmos in the classics line made from plasic. i don't see why they would make a titanium verson of a classics figure...

The Cosmos is definitely a Titanium. The price point is $15.88, and the complete description is TS TRA CLASSC COSMOS. "TS" is Titanium Series.

Shawn said he found these after scanning a 6" Titanium under "perpetual inventory" mode. I don't see why a Classics line toy would come up that way.

Do you think that the "G1 Shockwave" listing means a G1 reissue line is suddenly going to crop up at Wal*Mart?

The reason they would make a Titanium Classics figure is the same reason they've made Titanium War Within figures. The line is an all-continuities line where they can make figures that otherwise wouldn't have a home. Having said that, if TS Cosmos comes to fruition, I'd say that's a pretty good sign we can stick a fork in Classics.

EDIT: Oh, and there you go. Straight from the horse's keyboard.

Easy way to tell for those with Wal-Marts in the area (they have to carry Titaniums). Go to the store and have them hit "Item Inquiry" then haven then type in the UPCs listed and then hit "ENTER". This will show the info for the UPC. If these are real (they sure look it to me, and I would know) the description and the Wal-Mart item number will show up.

That's definetly one of Wal-Mart's computer listings. I'd recognize that style of abbreviation any where.

Not to be a downer, but Cosmos coming out as a Titanium, and (spoiler) ... the remaining 3 G1 seekers coming out as Botcon exclusives give me the distinct impression that Classics isn't coming back, or perhaps more accurately any future "Classics" will be released as Titaniums instead.

I think Shockwave is a classics like mold, cosmos is the classics in diecast, arcee is arcee, and that cybertron bumblebee is protoform bumblebee.

Itching to see how Shockwave and Cosmos turn out

    Yes.

And while things may be looking grim for Classics, at least the Titanium line is roaring on.

Agreed except for Bumblebee. I'm betting (and hoping) he's in his MTMTE vehicle mode.

    Well, let's see...

Cosmos - as said, probably based off the unused design. I'm sure Archer and co. saw our pant-creaming reaction to that concept.

Arcee - I can see her as a Titanium as well. She's never gotten a decent toy of her G1 form. That would be sweet to have to go with Magnus and Rodimus.

Shockwave - YES! In gun mode - double YES! He's one figure that could work as the gun is CLEARLY not a real gun. Dunno if he would need an orange cap or not - I would assume that the Titanium line falls under a different legal category or something. And they package him in 'bot mode anyhow.

Cyb. Bumblebee: 2 possibilities here - either the protoform Bumbles from the movie comics, or the WW Bumblebee design. I'd guess the latter.

Brawl - Probably a repaint, as people said. Not that interested myself.
