Nothing really big, but hey an update's an update

Its a pretty cool idea for a disc cover. I guess any news is good news, but I was hoping that we'd get something more substantial this week. Lately we've seen alot of art related material.
As long as it plays and the guns aren't walky talkies.
I predict Disc 2 will have a pic of an open Matrix.
Maybe they're saving the good stuff for BotCon
Which would make sense since there is that advance screening
I like it!
You know, one of my biggest complaints with DVDs is that, there is always the potential to have spectacular artwork on the DVD itself. Most of the time this potential is completely ignored, even in the case of "special editions" and the like.
I'm happy to see that this will not be the case for this release of the Transformers movie. That artwork is not only spectacular, but fits perfectly with the DVD itself. Beautiful.
That's beautiful. Excellent idea.
That or a picture of the pit of despair that is filled with those who have been subjected to too much of Daniel and a few too many of Wheelie's rhymes.
Would be kind of funny if disk two's center was either the hole blasted in the side of the autobot shuttle, or a blast flash from prowl being shot, with smoke coming out his eyes.
I don't mean this as a diss to Don, but why is all this art so....undetailed. I mean Don's the guy who drew individual rivets on megatron. this seems rushed in comparison.
I like it.
Most likely a few reasons. The first could simply be that he was mimicking the cartoon stylings of the film. The second is that it could easily have been requested by Sony BMG to have it more cartoony and less techy for overall consistency with the movie.
And on a side, I really like it. It's a great use of the space and concept.
That is badass!! I mean how freakin cool is that, Unicron disc..
I love it.. Perfect design..
yeah I was thinking that too. though the glow in the middle is kinda interrupted by hole in the DVD though. So it won't be quite as spectacular on the finished version.
Just watched the new DVDs and it's got a few new 'unexpected' surprises...
1- All the Dinobots have been replaced by Stormtroopers on Dewbacks
2- Greedo Shoots Prime first
3- The "Arise Rodimus Prime" voice over has been replaced by Hayden Christiansen whining
4- Unicron passes on devouring Cybertron for a "healthier alternative"
Very nice. Nice to see thought going into this.
So it is a 2-disc set after all?
Two discs, is it? Cool. The more, the better. They need to go ahead and throw in a re-release of the soundtrack. Or at least a single of "The Touch".
