Its only a scam if you fail to read the description thoroughly. Otherwise its just a terrible item to bid on.

    Ebay:
He describes both guns, but states you'll only be receiving 1 gun??

EDIT: LOL. it states you'll be getting a picture of the guns, not the guns themselves!

Initially, I took it as a badly written item description, but then I scrolled down...

No the dick describes both guns then says you will get a picture.

    From the listing:

winner receives a picture of the guns as stated in title

Reported for excessive shipping charges ;D $35 to ship a picture, I think not.

32 bids with only 3 unique bidders. Hope this guy isn't trying to up his listing and end up paying a bunch of fees for nothing lol

    I did

The fact the guy is only selling a pic and realizes most people won't scroll down all the way so he knows he'll probably get away with....this equals a scam

Yeah the idiots that bid on it really need to learn to read the entire auction before bidding

I don't think It's sarcasm, the seller is a piece of shit. Jackass goes unto this full description of mods and internals just to mislead the auctioneers. Also reported.

As do the knee-jerk reactions...the worst side of the TFW boards.

But seriously, MMM might be sarcastic at times (among other things), but I highly doubt he condones this sort of thing, so I believe he was being sincere when posting that...if his posting history over the years is any indication.

I remember seeing some young girl take a case like this to Judge Judy (it was back when I was in Uni so my days weren't as busy lol). The woman that made the sale was all "but it clearly said in the description that it was a piture of a cell phone, not the actual phone", to which Judge Judy replied "why would you describe the phone's specs if there wasn't an actual phone". It basically was back and forth with the defendant repeating "but it clearly said" and the judge responding with "why the hell would someone pay over $100 for a picture of a phone you idiot". Basically she made the scammer refund the money and "court costs". I know it was probably BS but really, why would anyone ever buy a picture of nerf guns?

Also, the seller actually did sell a bunch of modded nerf guns (completed listings) but this is the pnly picture auction he's got up.
