The Nerf N-Strike line is getting a truly amazing new weapon in the near future. The NERF N-STRIKE Vulcan EBF-25 battery-powered machine gun is fully automatic and can shoot darts at a rate of up to 3 per second!!!

It is going to retail for $40, but that price includes the gun, a 25-dart ammo belt that feeds through the gun, an ammo box that holds the belt, 25 darts with which to arm yourself and a collapsable tripod upon which to rest the entire thing. There is a value pack available which comes w/ an additional ammo belt, 25 additional darts and a shoulder strap to hold this beast if you want to carry it.

It can be shot either as a single-shot weapon by using a charging handle (similar to the Longshot) or fired on full auto with the flick of a switch (powered by six D batteries).

It can also be augmented with N-Strike laser sights and tactical lights through 3 seperate mounting rails.

I have a bunch of these guns b/c I have a young niece and nephew and they love dart gun wars (and admittedly, so do I), but this... this gun is amazing! I would buy this gun w/o having any others from the line at all (although the other guns are quite cool as well). This is the kind of stuff that I would have loved to have when I was a kid, and I can't wait to have the kids over for a full blown Nerf gun war!!!

I've got a couple six shots and my brother has an RPG/Sixshot/Pistol combo...I wouldn't mind this to even the odds.

Haven't found it in stores but I spent a long day yesterday hunting for it. A few targets had the labels in place but no stock. Someone found it in my state's sighting thread though.

HTS had a bonus pack with an extra ammo belt and 25 darts but it was sold out when I went to order it and the standard set isn't shipping till september.

I pre-ordered a value pack from Amazon for $0.04 less  . They are still available and are supposed to ship out on the 11th. Well worth the wait I think, unless you can get the value pack in the stores as well.

As far as extra belts, other Nerf guns use clips and they have/had them available for individual order on hasbrotoystore.com. They didn't make them available for order until many many months after the guns were released though. I would assume that eventually they would do the same thing for the ammo belts.

I believe it is supposed to be 8 lbs w/ the 6 D sized batteries installed, hence the shoulder strap. It is definitely one BFG.

I'm just imagining the Nerf design team, sitting around, deciding what to make next, and one them said "Time to let Ol' Painless out of the bag." :D

Sweet. I've got the Longshot and have used it once or twice in informal dartgun wars. I'd love to play with this thing in Rock and Roll mode. Though the 6 D cells sound like it needs some crazy power.

That looks pretty cool, and pretty big for only $40. If it wasn't for college and TF's I'd buy it up as soon as possible.

Yeah, my friend has one. I think Hasbro based it off of a previous design, because I've got a video that I linked to my blog a month or so ago that had a blue one that was the same gun.
