Who else here has a few nerf guns or their knock offs? I grabbed a longshot a few months ago and saw this Buzz Bee shotgun at walmart the other night at about 3 am. Ended up buying it and so did my buddy. Oh man this is a great gun :lol .

Did any of you have problems with the Vulcans battery compartment not fully contacting the metal points? My buddy bought one and we couldn't get it into full auto until we placed a broken dart in the compartment area aswell.

I bought two nerf swords to play with my brother during christmas. I also conducted a little experiment. At my families christmas eve party I stuck each sword in the back of the couch excalibur style and waited. at about 1:00 there were full grown adults having sword fights. great night.

2 older guns I bought from TRU back in 1996 as movie props.
2 Mavericks that i modded the cylinders so they come out all the way and spin freely for Rounds of Russian Roulette (we call it "R cubed)
    Vulcan
Longshot- this bad boy defines fun. to be able to lie on the floor at 7 a.m. and snipe half sleeping kids as they come our of their rooms from 25 feet....SUH-WEET!

and there is a new Nerf rifle coming out this spring that looks like a Russian style sniper rifle that i really am jonesing for. The LongStrike:

it has some engineering ties to the Longshot, but it still looks great.

I was just thinking about them yesterday. Went to the local Wally-World here in town, and they had the Recon's down to $7 and the Vulcan's down to $18. Been going back and forth on whether to get one since I saw them.

On a side note: has anyone else seen the nerf battle axes? both targets in my area have them, they look pretty sweet.

what do you mean? the one with the the 1930's ammo drum on the side (the Nerf N-Strike Raider Rapid Fire CS 35 Blaster) or the big ole chain gun with a chain (Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25).....both are totally worth it, the Vulcan is one BAD mofo and the Raider is one of the funnest nerf guns i have yet to get ahold of

here is a page with a pic of them on it:

Still my favorite Nerf gun of all time. That great blue camouflage design couple with a shield and gun combo.

Never owned one personally but back in the day I'd go to my friends house and play with this every chance I got.

NERF brand battle axes? I know the local target had some cheap $1 foam ones, but if there is a NERF one....

    That Longstrike looks nice.

Longshot, Maverick, and the glow in the dark one. Great for reminding the dogs who the boss is.
