At first I thought this was going to be a cheesey hack job, but wow.....they did some work!
That was some good ass editing. The ending was lacking, but all and all pretty good.
Yeah the ending was "meh" but the composite editing was stellar!
Damn Robocop is a bad shot.....
That was pretty cool, up until the other characters showed up.
Cool. I am still waiting on a Terminator vs Robocop movie.
I think having Yoda in there at the end ruined it. The ED-209 may not have made much sense in context of what was going on, but at least it had something to do with Robocop. Yoda was completely out of place. Pretty cool job of editing until Yoda showed up though.
I am extraordinarily impressed. That was far, far more than I expected.
And the ending wasn't so bad for me. I didn't really care about the story, I was more interested in just the fact that the author was able to MAKE the movie as he/she did.
Uh. Not to be an asshole but I don't see how that was in any way "cool." To each his own though.
That was pretty damn cool. The only part that looked out of place (besides Yoda) was when Robocop was kicked, and falling over; looked jerky. But, so kick ass.
Robocop should have win cause Neo is a duche-bag!
But in some points you could see the roto-shapes around Robocop and sometimes the light directions didn't match up right, but the hard word is noticeable.
Wow. That was freaking sweet editing. Yoda appearing was pretty random and stupid, but ED-209 seemed to fit in pretty well. RoboCAIN would have been better... but still gotta love ED.
Yeah, it did look bad. But so did the scene from Robo3 that that was lifted from, IIRC.
It impresses me from an editing standpoint ... if only because now I want to fire up Vegas and see if I can do the same thing. There were only a handful of shots that would've been really difficult, the others I think I could replicate with a bit of playing around.
I'm with pretty much everyone else. Pretty cool most of the way through, but the ending sucks. I have to wonder if this guy was inspired by the "Batman: Dead End" short film.
cool up until the lame-o ending. yeah.
Guys, come on. This is a fan-made film, made by anyone like you or me. It's a few minutes long, and shouldn't be held to the same standards as (for example), Batman Begins.
With that in mind, I thought it was AWESOME! What's not to like? Someone actually found enough pertinent clips and made it cohesive and with a good narrative focus. All the more impressive, considering that this narrative was entirely retroactive, taken by working backwards from existing material.
But yes, Yoda's sudden arrival was...sort of...weird. I would've preferred Robocop 2 or the Terminator to show up.
I wonder if this guy wants to do a Terminator vs. Robocop edit clip...
Yeah, I think a Terminator or Robocop2 woulda have made tons more sense then Yoda. But I am really impressed with what the person who did this did. I could never do anything like that. I have little to no skill, excpet turning oxygen into Carbon Dioxide. Oh and sleep, that's where I'm a viking!
That was awesome
