Neo Machines from Mega Bloks, which are like Neo Shifters, come in all sizes.

These are the smaller ones, which are repaints of the Plasma Techs.
The light gimmicks are removed, and they have different weapons now.

They look decent, but only have 5 points of articulation each.
    5 balljoints = neck, shoulders x2, waist x2

Would say pass on these , but Meijers has them on clearance for $1.50...
    so yeah

Muff, since you seem to like the line, were you aware of the TRU-exclusive Plasma Tech set? Seems like that would be right up your alley.

Do any of you guys have images of all the Dragons from Plasma Dragons series 4 & 5?

I'm trying to make a "plasma-verse" checklist with names and images.

I'm trying to figure out which remaining dragons I might want. My local stores have a bunch of them from all the series and I'm trying to get all the ones that appeal to me before they disappear.

So far, I have the white and blue Plasma-tech robots, all 6 original Plasma Dinosaurs, a series 5 red & yellow dragon, a series 4 green and orange dragon, and 2 of the series 9 Sawskreetch skeleton dragon (which is bad-ass).

    Mini Monster Figure Database

I have a near-complete Series 5 of the Dragons that I'd sell for dirt-cheap, among other Plasma stuff.

The Plasma Tech resemblance is not coincidental - those robots basically coincided with the TF movie line.

Look cool but the lack of reasonable amount of articulation makes me uninterested. Bummer.

The dinosaurs, ghouls, and dragons are better. The robots are all stuck in a standing type setup because they are not as dynamically sculpted as the other 3 types.

There are also larger boxed Plasma Dragons called "Battlemorph" dragons, which are more articulated. 8 in all. 4 dragons in the first series because the second series had 2 griffins and 2 dragons instead but I've yet to even see the second series figures aside from online pictures.

I have the first six plasma tech figures, so I might grab one or two of these.

    HOLY.....What..have..I..just...found?

    New Plasma-Tech?!!?

Amazon.com: Plasma Tech Skysweeper Terrain Security Cyborg: Toys & Games

    Notice anything odd?

Entirely new figures! They even have new card art and containers! BUT, where they ever made? Or will they ever be? They look awesome and add jetpacks, wings, propellers, or thrusters in place of weapons.

They might be Series 10. I hope. I know it says "series 5", but Mega Bloks Plasma toys usually have their figures incorrectly numbered by series in the official photos, for example, seeing the Series 9 Dragons shown in "series 8" packaging and so on.

Noticed that a while back. I also recently saw a similar deal where a Plasma Dragon was shown in an odd, more boxy "Dragon Universe" packaging. I don't think we'll be seeing either.

Dragon Universe is the new line coming out in 2010. It's not "plasma" anymore, but they will have some dragons and some small mini-figure guys with guns and vehicles packed in little egg-like containers.

Hey, that link you put up, is that your site?

If it is, I noticed that you are missing the guys from Series 8 & 9. Right now those guys are pretty easy to come by in my area, save for the skeleton and green dragon guys.

No. I haven't noticed the site's creator active in a long time, and she probably doesn't bother collecting them anymore, but I wouldn't know either way. I myself gave up and have wanted to ditch my small Plasma collection for a long time now.
