I just got a Neo Geo cart system, and I'm looking to build my collection. If anyone out there has any of these for trade, drop me a line (I'm glad to trade TF's for them). Thanks!

    Ebay:
Wish I still had my stuff to offer you. I sold my Neo Geo AES console about 5 years ago or so. It was modded to do S-video and I had a Phantom-1 converter cart that allowed you to play MVS (the actual arcade carts from the large arcades). Had a couple of joysticks and a converter that allowed you to use a Neo Geo CD controller also. I had a pretty nice collection of mostly fighters (most of the KOF, Real Bout, Fatal Fury, Samurai Spirits series) and some shmups (shoot 'em ups/2-D shooters). Even had custom cases for the AES/MVS carts with custom printed inserts for the games.

I sold off most of it when I modded my old X-box (blackbox) to play Neo Geo CD games. I had a Neo Geo CD system also, so I was able to play the games I had on AES/MVS. I think I kept one MVS cart with its custom case and custom inserts (I believe it was Real Bout: Fatal Fury Special--one of my favorites).

Anyway, just wanted to offer a friendly bump and wish you good luck on your search, man! You may also want to check out NeoGeo.com (I used to do a lot of trading and buying with guys who used to frequent that site years ago).

Thanks. Yeah, my brother is heavy into neo geo (and has been for years), so I've been able to get a few games off him. Some of the older stuff is relatively cheap on ebay, etc., so that's where I've been focusing. Neo-geo.com is a great resource for reviews and for their price guide. I'm probably not going to try to deal with people on there yet (I don't have any feedback, and I've gotten ripped off enough on these boards to scare me away from dealing with strangers.....I really only deal with people I know now).

Anyhow, thanks again for the message and the bump.

    oh yeah.....and bump

I've got a few MVS carts IIRC. I can look for them if you're interested in going that route. Best bang for the buck would probably be to buy a 111 n 1 cart, and the MVS super converter II.

Just looking for the real mccoy's for now. Its as much about collecting them as it is for playing them for me (otherwise I'd just download the roms). If I ever end up getting an MVS converter, I'll definitely drop you a line.
