Cool, yeah, I just had mine shipped from BBTS -- arrived yesterday. He's a cool little figure. The little Han Solo in carbonite is a nice idea as an extra, but seems poorly executed. I won't be displaying that. Besides including Han, I'm not sure why they called this ESB Boba, since his coloring and blaster makes this ROTJ Boba.
Sounds good to me. I like the extra colors on the ROTJ version. And Han in Carbonite never hurts. How bad could it be?
Nendoroid Asato Miyo C'mon guys. Two figmas and now a Nendoroid... Just make the anime already! I'm prepared to buy the anime version of the characters if that's what you want!
Handled this guy a bit and he's pretty alright. Not as fun to handle as Kirby was but it's a given due to his design. But the first time I attached his wings the joints were stuck and the angle the holes were at made it worse. Ah well.
What are your thoughts on Tracer? I decided to pass on the Nendo version for the Figma but with Genji and Hanzo revealed, I'm slowly considering getting the Nendos too. haha. Also, Hanzo and Genji! With June 2018 release date: At AmiAmi Nendoroid - Overwatch: Genji Classic Skin Edition[Good Smile Company] Nendoroid - Overwatch: Hanzo Classic Skin Edition[Good Smile Company] Or from Blizzard Nendoroid Genji Nendoroid Hanzo
She's my 2nd Nendoroid ever so I don't have much experience, but based on reviews they're saying she has better articulation and sculpting than the Nendoroids before her. I've pretty much liked chibi/SD characters since forever so I went ahead and pre-ordered Mercy, Mei, Genju and Handsoap. Of course, not everyone likes chibi so Figma versions might be more up your alley. I also pre-ordered the Tracer and Genji Figmas but I have no experience with Figmas, all of my other figures have been Figuarts. And to actually answer your question, the Nendoroid Tracer is 100000x better than the POP one. She's highly poseable and comes with a ton of accessories. Plus they're spaced out and cheap enough (for a Japan import) that I can just save up 40 bucks (+shipping) every 2-3 months to get them all. The superior sculpt and articulation may not justify the price for some people (that's me for Mattel/Hasbro vs Figuarts/Figma/Mafex), but for me as a chibi fan, it's the only way to get decent anime/chibi Overwatch figures.
Yeah, I only own a handful of Nendoroids so I sort of know what to expect. I do have the pops too so I didn't feel like I needed two chibi versions and I much prefer the Figma style figures because of the more dynamic posing options. Hmm, I'm sort of interested in seeing what other characters will be made before taking the plunge though. Currently have Mercy pre-ordered but Genji and Hanzo coming with the dragon effects are tempting me. Haha.
The preorders for the Kirby Robobot Armor are up: Nendoroid More: Robobot Armor & Kirby (Kirby: Planet Robobot) Nendoroid More: Robobot Armor (Kirby: Planet Robobot) Does anyone know what exactly the difference between the two releases are? Is the extra face and the helmet for Kirby included in the barebones release or are those exclusive for the version with the Kirby body? The reason I ask is because I have the regular Nendoroid Kirby so I don really need another pink pillow but I really like the helmet and the face shown in the pictures.
Got my first Nendoroid today in the form of Ryuko Matoi. She's absolutely adorable! I love her little guitar case, and how cute she looks holding the scissor blade and shouting at stuff. I definitely wanna get Satsuki and possibly (regular) Mako... but I can't see myself really getting anymore than that. Maybe Batman and Genos (albeit for my sister). I think what helps it for me is the character. Having shouty, violent, "I'm gonna avenge my dad" Ryuko condensed to a cute little figure is a lot more interesting to me than a character who's already sorta cute and stuff like, say, Ariel or Madoka. They don't need to be any more cute.
Saw Nendoroid Tracer for $40 at Target (there was a BOTW link too but I don't remember the price). Makes me wasn't to cancel mt Overwatch Nendoroid preorders since that comes up cheaper even than Amiami. If they start stocking Mei in a few months I'm definitely switching to Target.
I saw Mei at EB Games today. Priced at $70CAD, I'd be tempted to pick them up at EB Games if they ever get discounted.
It would be cool if Nendoroid decided to come out with EarthBound or Mother 3 Nendos. Ness and Lucas would be epic for this line.
SW4 Leia Like, seriously?! Guess I shouldn't be too surprised since they've been putting out Disney Nendoroids and SW is now Disney.
