I was just watching Spiderman 3 and thought it was a pretty good movie. Question is, is there a toy of the black Spiderman?

Yea, even before the live-action movies were released.

    What's a good one to get? Don't want a cheap 5 dollar 2inch toy.

Don't know. I've seen some before, but I don't remember which.

I think the black Spiderman became Venom and I think their two different looking characters. Well, their heads were different anyway.

Spider-Man gets repainted into Black Costume Spider-Man the way Takara churns out the Black Convoys. There are plenty of Venom toys, too.

For a good, 6" (Marvel Legends scale) black costume Spidey toy, try this one:

Marvel News Reviews Images and more - MarvelousNews.com

It's one of the more recent ones and, thus, might be the cheapest. Poke around that site and you'll find more versions as well as many awesome versions of Venom.

Every Spidey toy line made after Secret Wars (where he got the suit to begin with), has had a black suit Spidey at some point. There's also a Marvel Transformers Black Spidey (motorcycle), with a second version (race car) in the next wave.

Spider-Man's black suit was actually an alien symbiote that bonded with him. Once Spider-Man realized that the symbiote was actually enhancing his negativity, he discarded the suit. The suit then bonded with Eddie Brock who had a beef with Peter Parker. That's Venom's origin.

There are a ton of black suit Spider-Man figures out there. I actually found some of the BAF from the Spider-Man 3 movie at my local T.J. Maxx a few months ago...

I saw a Black suit Spiderman today, in the 3.5" line (some kind of Night-Action? or something) anyway, he only had one eye shape painted and it looked like he was winking!

Is this an intentional variant or bad QC??

If you know what I'm talking about, back of the card featured Spiderman and Venom illustrations and cross sell with Green Goblin and others.

That sounds like very bad QC, since there wasn't a variant of that figure.

    There is.

For the movie, there was a roughly 5" Black Spidey and a 6" one released after it. There was a battle damaged 5" one, I think and a red Spidey with the black stuff on it and it would punch it off or something.

I know there was 12" comic black Spidey released just before the movie that looked stupid, and a black Marvel Legends one, I think and quite possibly a Spectacular Spider Man one. There could be a 3 3/4" one released, but I'm not sure.

If there was one before the ones listed, it was before me.

EDIT: After reading, there is a 3 3/4" one out.
