I notice there a bunch of sellers on eBay selling Nemesis' missiles at crazy prices, even more than the figure itself. What's up with that? Were there packaging errors where Nemesis was missing his missiles?

i don't believe that nemesis prime from the classics had missiles in the 1st place considering he was a repaint of classics prime with the same weapons and non were missiles

I believe he is talking about the Nemesis Prime Repaint from the first Universe Line. The repaint of Big Convoy. (The notorious Shellformer)

*Edit* Damn, Didn't expect everyone to post the answer as I was typing this. XD

I pretty much figure it couldnt be the Classic Prime repaint since you said Universe 1.0. Completely forgot there was the Big Convoy repaint. Which reminds me, I need to get one.

I got one fairly cheap a few years back. Though it turned out when I got it the tip of one of the tusks was broken off, but it actually kinda looks cooler like that. Alas, it is a Big Convoy mold and so moving between modes is not really a thing to look forward to.

So anyway, anyone have any idea why people are selling missiles at those prices? Never seen other guys in recent releases getting their accessories priced like that.

I love that figure... I wish I had scooped up a few of them when Target was clearancing them for $9. I've got a pretty good "Nemesis Prime" collection going: Universe Nemesis Prime, Armada Nemesis Prime, Universe 2.0 Nemesis Prime, Alternators Nemesis Prime, RID Scourge, and KB Destructicon Scourge... (...*runs!*...)

Apparently a lot of people really love Nemesis Prime, but let's get back to the topic regarding the missiles, any idea folks?

Most of the time the accessories to out of print toys are going to be the pricier part of the fig. It doesn't make sense that you can get the scorpion body for Pretender Pincher for less than you can get that tiny little blue gun that comes with him, but that's the way of the hobby I suppose.

selling the accessory to a toy is a niche market within a niche Market.so they charge high prices for those. But no there was no issue with the Missles, least not that I've ever heard of and not with mine.

Also getting back on topic of the Off topic. GOD this figure was AMAZING!!!

Some people will buy missing parts and rather not spend the money to get a whole figure just for one or two pieces.

Smaller parts are easier to lose so they're harder to find.
