I think it's more to the point that this is impossible because there isn't anything for this to push off of, not the fact that it has no tethering (which it supposedly does in some magic form). You can't just have a thing hover in the air over the naked earth, restraints or no.

So no, it's not possible to hover things in this way, restraints or not. It's all about what's underneath it.

They claim it ionizes the air underneath and above it (so I understand), and that's what provides the push/pull. Also that is totally bullshit.

I just found a story where they claim they made a 1979 Ford pickup go 400 mph down public roads using one of their "devices".

I gotta hand it to them, they are masters at BS.

Well it depends, is their "device" a generously sized rocket engine? Because that's about the only way to hit that speed on land.

No, they said it was the same tech as the levitating thing.

Would have made a cooler video if it was a generously sized rocket engine.

You'd be more scientifically accurate to claim a wizard cast a spell then any of that. Or that I am personally responsible for Microwaves. Their very existence is because I allow it. When you heat a meal, it's because of me, you're welcome. That's more likely then anything they claim.
