its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it...so if its worth 850 to you, to have a test shot megatron that most people wont have, then go for it...

i'd say that is probably a fair price depending on how many other protos look the same...if it is the only proto that looks like that then sure i'd say it a fair price, but it doesn't hurt trying to knock the price down a bit...by any chance do you have a pic of it...i wouldn't mind seeing it...pm me if you do

i'll go after protos depending on how unique they are and if i like the mold and a bunch of other stuff

it really comes down to if you really want it and if you do...do you think that the price is justified

i mean it really shouldn't be based on if we think it's a fair price or not because i could honestly say that a year ago i would have said that spending $100 on a tf was crazy....but here i am now with pieces that are over $400 in value...if you feel justified then so be it

I'd say that easily worth $850 mate. I remember Fran (I'm sure it was him) picking up the first unpainted MP-01 proto to hit eBay, and paying around that for it at least.
Heh. If I had the money, I'd bite your hand off for that thing.

I'd say go for it, if you can afford it. This is one of those pieces that should retain it's value no problem

The only thing I'd advise is that since the finished article is so easy to accidentally break, to be extra super careful with the proto of such a figure. It'd be a bast and a half to pay out that price and then have one of the usual MP Megs breaks happen to you.
