I am trying to practice paint my first figure. It's a key chain ROTF Optimus Prime merged with Jetfire and it has some 'soft' bendable parts on it that got all tacky and gross when I painted them. How do I fix this or prevent it on other stuff??

I used this picture as a reference to show you the figure. It's not my pic.

that sort of stuff just doesn't like paint, Don't know if it's like that with acrilic but it just hates enamel, Classics seeker nosecones are made of the same stuff, sharpies or nail polish usually work ok on it though.

Ok, sharpies and nail polish. I'll give it a try then (prolly the sharpies first though).

You need to strip all of the paint off, and then hit it with a good coat of primer. I painted the one on my Keychain, worked fine.

The primer will give you a good solid canvas to put paint on.
