So yea i'm rebuilding my collection and my collection consists of the best version of each tf character.

So I'm trying to get a version of g1 jetfire now but I don't know which one I should get. The original or the classics version? I would want to get both but I consider it kind of repetitive. So I need some opinions here. If you had a choice, which jetfire would u get?

Classics. Much more faithfull to the character in the cartoon. And has twice the firepower of the original G1 Jetfire.

I know, isn't it sad how some Classics figures look more G1 then actual G1 figures?

Classics Jetfire is way better, i don't own g1 Jetfire and i don't really care. Classics Jetfire also has a skyfire mode without the helmet..

I have a 1/55 Valk and a Classics Jetfire... I like them both, frankly. If I had to pick, I'd say Classics because it's more modernized and pretty cool.

Both are awesome. Tough choice. Classics is much easier to get these days though. He's also a lot closer to show accurate than G1 Jetfire.

Classics. They're both good figures, but I like the scale and the updated look a lot more.

classic is nice and MUCH cheaper, I do have a problem with those new figures though: Cheap Plastic! When you comparing it with a g1 figure those plastic just sucks so bad.

If you want a more show accurate version classic is definitely the way to go. However g1 jetfire looks absolutely beautiful in jet mode and really is a very very nice toy.

depends on ur interest and budget
take a look at both version and pick the one u like
    budget wise go for classic
my personal opinion, go for classic - way better looking
besides, g1 looks like the macross valkyrie jet, if anybody noticed. maybe made from the same mold?

G1 Jetfire is in fact made from an old Bandai mold of a VF-1S from Super Dimensional Fortress Macross (or Robotech for those who grew up with it.)

yeah, it's a repaint with some small modifications(nosecone), the orignal VF-1S however looks far superior because of the color.

I *love* Classics Jetfire, don't get me wrong, but the G1/Valkrie may be one of the best toys ever made period. Given the choice I'd keep my G1 Jetfire (yet cry as the Classics one was cruelly taken away :) ).
