i was wondering if anyone knew a site or way i could translate e-hobby.co.jp. does anyone know if the ship to the US. i want to get the menasor they have listed.
Why would you want to shell out the money for their version of Menasor just so you'd have a sticker on the packaging that shows you imported it from Japan?
As far as I know, E-Hobby don't ship to the US, but you can use a deputy service to buy from them, I think. Never ordered direct from them before so I don't know the specifics, I'm afraid.
I ordered from them a few years back, Infact, someone on here had even posted a "How To" guide in the Toyark on how to do it. Choppaface maybe? Back when he was a regular poster.
http://www.e-hobby.co.jp/cgi-bin/omc?port=33301&tno=1157932006OOUVM&req=PRODUCT&code=tf_cybertron_03 Just scroll down and there's contact info in English. They ship outside Japan, but you need to send a mail to them first. They only ship via EMS. I don't know if it's a good idea pricewise, but let's say if you live outside US, buying from eHobby isn't too bad.
i guess a little taller then the energon version. the reason i want to get menasor is the colors are darker on him. he looks better than the US version.
He was produced in the same factory at the same time as the US version. I don't think his colors are any different whatsoever, and you're going to be disappointed if you pay more for the same toy and the same box.
How can you judge that from photos alone? Menasor is supposed to be a "USA Edition", which means he's the Hasbro toy in Hasbro packaging with an e-Hobby sticker on the packaging. Basically, you'll be paying a markup for a sticker that shows you imported a toy from Japan instead of buying it in a domestic store. Aside from that, the toy should be identical. It won't even have a different packaging that might justify the import, as Primus did.
