I doubt that a real war within toy line is coming out aanytime soon. Basically if you want anything that isent a movie tie-in for next 3-4 months your pretty much screwed.

    seems

It seems to me that it is hard to find War Within images, unlees you have the comics most people are always asking where they can find them and it is a real crap shoot, to find multiples.

    grim

I would like to see the designs at all, the only one I have seen pics of are Grimlock and Grimlock, I have not ever seen any other Dyno Bot design, some one with the comics needs to scan all the pages into a database for kitbashers.

Thanks Gryph for showing some love by posting that link to my TWW Grimlock. As some may remember, I also was working on a TWW Shockwave but things came up and wasn't able to finish it. Hopefully one day...

Great stuff, Viagra. How much does something like that set you back? I've always wanted to try my hand at scratchbuilding.

Well, all you need is styrene sheets, putty, exacto knife, and glue (I used a little bit of wood too for Shockwave as well as took hands off of Alternators for both). All of that (not including costs of the donor Alternators) probably costs around $40-50. If you want to make scratchbuilding a little easier for yourself you should probably invest in a dremmel and miter kit which can set you back a couple hundred. But more than monetary costs it's the time and patience that can hinder you, especially when working a full time job. It took me about 9 months to finish TWW Grimlock.

Edit: if you want some very good references for making the TWW figures, check out this site. He has pretty much all of the TWW designs in 3-D model. I used the site as reference to make both Grimlock and Shockwave.
