OK So i just got this amazing girlfriend and I need to do something good for valentines day.

Not something ridiculous or spectacular, or expensive cuz I always felt those types of date lack thought and execution and it has only been a month. So I'm looking for good starting points and ideas that I could tailor to best fit the girl.

    Any ideas?

Good to hear a successful relationship thread eh? :D

EDIT: oh and sex is pretty much guaranteed as well.... come on it's me :)  So that's not really a factor or goal of the date

haha surprisingly she likes my beardiness.

Ummm ok she is pretty low key down to earth, she loves music and we have kind of the same tastes ( but i already checked concerts around and nothin good is in town), ummm lets see...... she loves the outdoors but its like 20 degrees right now. She is extremely easy to please, hence why she is dating me lol She's not really into movies , so thats out. We already went to the fun museum and her aunt is the seal trainer at the Zoo so thats out.

I'm thinkin it may just end up like just going to a nice dinner, unless somebody has an amazing idea cuz the weather ruins a lot of possibilities.

If you MAKE an amazing dinner for the two of you, it would be a more romantic gesture than just going out to dinner.

    Just an idea :)

Brilliant!!! My house is teh suck for romance though cuz well...... it looks like a TGI Fridays on the inside, and my roommates are really bad at NOT killing moods like they were going for a high score.

Kind of same with her house, roommates are always in the business.

    yes flowers are a great touch. I will say something though;

    chocolate

IMO don't get a lot of Chocolate. Maybe a chocolate caramel/peanut butter/marshmallow/etc heart or something small like that is nice.

You don't want to over do it when you give chocolate. A little is much better than a lot.

Definitely flowers and chocolate. A very nice dinner, be it you make it at home or go to a restaurant (someplace that is nice but not overly expensive).

That's all I could think of. I may be a girl, but I've never been out on a date for Valentine's... not yet, at least. So...

Yeah, nice homemade dinner, get rid of the cockblockers. Maybe go ice skating after dinner? I'm in Minnesota, we have a lot of ice rinks indoors and out, maybe you don't.

Dinner, flowers, chocolate, not bad ideas but let's face it. TYPICAL. Be creative, make her a cd or cook her dinner or something.

Oh yeah and stick it in her pooper.

I never celebrate Valentine's Day. Don't get me wrong, I am not against it. But I have been single most of life and there is no need for me to celebrate it.
