I'm interested in 3D modelling - Prime's alternate " Power Up " based on Ben Procter's work - I tried looking for reference images but this is all i can find. Any way i find more ?

Don't you mean you want to model JetPrime? Prime/Jetfire combined?

That's right ! i wanna model that " thing " on the right - well ya , it doesn't look too pretty but pretty much " bad ass " like axl6533 said . I can't seem to find any related concept art - other than the one attached . Everyone's modelling Jet prime - so i wanted to do something different ... maybe i have to create my own concept sketches for the back view  

 

Yeah you're gonna have to improvise alot of that. That's the only concept of that power up mode.

Awesome. I kind of hate the design myself (I think it just looks really bulky and awkward for Optimus), but I'd love to see what you can do to it and make it better.

But you got it wrong there - The " Power Up " version i'm doing is based on Ben Procter's concept. In ROTF, they used Josh Nizzi's Concept - Jet Prime. Ben procter's - Power up Prime concept is one of kind !

 

I actually liked the Powered Up Prime enough to use that version for my profile pic for a while. As you've noticed that's about the only pic/concept that was posted here in the news section as far as I can remember. I thought it would make an awesome looking Prime, much more streamlined than the JetPrime we wound up with, but of course that didn't stop me from buying that version  
So...bottom line..guess you have to fill in the blanks for the backside if you do go with a 3D version of this concept..I think he'd be awesome..would love to see what you work up!!

ive seen all of ben procters realeased cncpt art. For his version of powered up prime there is no backside photo because that was just a suggestion photo that never got selected to be developed

 

I built a custom figure loosely based off Procter's awesome concept art. Don't know if it will help in what you're doing though.
