So, my dad is asking me to find a good tablet for a reasonable price on the internet and I don't know what to choose. Does anyone have any suggestions? P.S. Read my sig before posting an answer
Then I would suggest the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. It's considered the best in the market right now, has very good specs and should fit your price range.
I have used the samsung galazy tab, the motorola xoom and the asus transformer. I work in IT, so I get to play with alot of new stuff. My favorite by far was the Asus transformer. It just seemed to be the easiest to use, and was the cheapest (400 bucks). Plus it has a cool name!
The only ones I've used are the Playbook and the old Samsung Galaxy tab. The new Galaxy tab, Asus Transformer, or Playbook are all good choices.
Wait for Tegra 3 "Kal-El" Tablets. These tablets will feature Tegra's quad-core processor, and will also be able to handle Retina display-type screen resolutions. This is what I am waiting for.
But I don't think his dad will need something with that much power. Or be willing to wait till they are released.
I'm looking at Tablets right now for a competition I'm participating in next month. I'm driving across the southeast looking for missing kids in an Amazing Race style rally, live. We'll be given clues to check in, so I need full connectivity on the road for internet research as well as Facebook and Twitter for interactivity from viewers, which I guess rules out wi-fi only tabs. I refuse to use Apple. I'm a cheapskate, so I'm looking for the cheapest option that fits my requirements. Help?
To the Op, I would also reccomend the Acer Iconia tab. It's almost the same thing as the Samsung galaxy but it's cheaper. I'm writing this on mine right now.
