Thanks for all the tips. I went to petsmart andgot some frontline 3 month treatment, aadams foggers, 3 hartz collars, and some dusting powder for carpet areas. $87 later i feel confident. I looked into a flame thrower but the permit fell thru. Thanks again all.
That's what me and my family had to do, we got a cat that had fleas but we didn't know until it was too late. So we kept shampooing the cats and dog and bug bomb everywhere. The fleas where imbedded in the creases on the cats head from the previous owners, worse thing I ever seen, just imagine the scene where the scarabs come out of the ground in The Mummy and that's what it looked like.
In all my years of having dogs Frontline is tops.Heartguard is another great item to get. Soak the dog in a medicated bath to kill all remaining fleas.(repeat with a regular bath the next day) Flea bomb the house and the dogs bedding.(twice if needed) Keep the dog out of wild grass and weeds when walking it(or keep it in the backyard) I have 2 labs who love to run in weeds but luckilly fleas are not common where i live but ticks are.
