Yeah I saw that, thanx man. I was hoping to find actual pics of the toy to make sure that's what I have (I'm 99% sure it is) also wanted to find some instructions so I don't wind up breaking it transforming it

    Here's a pic of it:

Also here's a pic of another one I got. Looks like a Whirl knock off but it has Bandai 1985 markings. It's fully transformable and is motorized, the blades spin and there a winch on the side that retracks the hook

One last oddity, transforms into a Pen has no date stamp but it does say Gakken on one foot

It would also help if I could get a robot mode shot of the helicopter...

Okay, well the only toys Bandai has ever had anything to do with are the Deluxe Insecticons, Skyfire, Roadbuster, and Whirl(Which this is not)...

So, Im guessing the toy is of some non-transformers origin, but just happens to be able to transformer. =/

Thats just my thought... I cant find anything on it...

    I just found something....sorta

The Bandai Helicopter is in a "Bart Smit" sales ad from, I think , the Netherlands. It's on the 9th picture down (There's a blue one in an earlier picture, but that says that one has a pullback motor)

    Transformers catalogs

"The other side of the page showing Gobots , Zoids and an Abega. They may have been fakes, but these still were more quality transforming toys than what passes today for real ones."-Underneath said photo

No Prob it's sad thou I don't remember anything else from this line of toys. Powerbots must have been really short lived here in the States.
