Customs: Need Help taking apart g1 Magnus trailer

    I'm taking apart an Ultra Magnus trailer but I've come to a hitch, the assembly that holds the 'foot' to body of the big bot mode. Probably needs me to take a soldering iron to it, but I wanted to see if there were any alternative solutions.

    looks like a rivet to me, and soldering iron is the safest way to remove one of those without damaging the plastic.

    When I repainted my spare Magnus reissue I just left that part on. You can get to everything around it without having to take it off.
