I'm doing some toy fix ups fix-ups, and I've encountered a big problem on a G1 scorponok I got at a yard sale a while ago. a screw holding a part (his upper arm) closed has been worn down a lot. it's just a big dent where the slot used to be! I need this open to do some work on his shoulder, is there any way to get the damn thing out?

Get a stripped screw remover set from a hardware store. I've also heard one of those tiny screwdrivers for glasses work well for stripped screws.

Depending on how it's put together:

You can drill the entire head off the screw, then pull the piece off.

You could try soldering a screw driver directly to the screw.

Drill an even smaller screw with a reverse thread into the original screw.

    Search Google

I was unaware such a thing even existed. Thank you.
