Open it!!! It's a great toy, and God didn't intend for toys to stay in boxes.

Jetfire's not rare. It's not like the toy will appreciate in value noticeably for it to be considered an investment. There's no reason to be keeping it in box.

I'd say it's still only worth retail. $18-$22. It is a lot of fun. The leg articulation stinks, but it's great to transform.

Do not hesitate to buy this figure! It's really a great toy! You could probably afford to buy two at his current price, but if not you should open him! It's just more fun that way! :)

Here's a link to the gallery on this site that has pictures of him:

I just bought one from eBay with all of the Burger King TF Movie toys for $23.00 including shipping, so he's not very expensive at this point and he's pretty easy to find.

    Have fun with the hunt!

Just be careful when pulling out his arm launchers that you don't break a tab like I did. :cry  :stick:

Probably one of my favorite of the Classics and Transformer toys in general. I am a big Jetfire fan though also! I love that it blends the Skyfire cartoon look with the original Macross Valkyrie toy that the orignal G1 Jetfire was based on. Also it was used as Jetfires look in the excellent Transformers Stormbringer comic! Open and enjoy!
