Customs: Need help making custom blister pack!

    Hi all! I'm looking to make large action figure-type sculptures for an art project. I want the sculpts to be reminiscent of 80's style Kenner blister packs! But the sculpts themselves will be about 6" to 7". So the blister itself would have to be about 8". How could I go about custom making a nice, clear plastic blister of this size?

    I've trolled google for blister pack and clamshell manufacturers who might have some stock packaging that would suit my needs, but nada.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    I can give you more info this weekend. We're going to build a DIY vacuum forming box tomorrow night in my Industrial Design modeling techniques class.

    Awesome, thanks Monarch! Maybe I'll go the custom route, though I'm pretty strapped for time (this project is for a gallery show in April). I'm looking at the link you sent me and it looks great but pretty involved. Let me know how your industrial design modeling class goes.
