    Ebay:
    hallo fellow enthusiasts,

i'm in a lil bit of a jam that i was hoping ya'll could help me with.

i bought my buddy's entire TF collection cuz he was in need of the uber lootz and i'm stuck with 2 huge bins full of toys.

i've been able to ID the G1 and G2 stuffs, but the Beast Wars stuff is totally foreign to me. there are a couple of Energon and Cybertron guys shuffled in there too, but i have a catalogue for those.

so inanutshell...... do ya'll know of any sites that may have a scanned/virtual BW and BW Transmetal catalogue?

i'm eventually gonna eBay them or sell em through the boards.. but maybe i can take some pics later and ya'll can help me ID em?

    help me, TF2005boards - you're my only hope!! ((>_<))

    - KO

I'm not sure there were catalogs for BW. You might want to check www.tfu.info if you did not already.

I'm sure if you post pics, people here can help ID them.

Or, you can line them all up in easily identifiable rows, take a picture and post it and someone will have ALL your answers for you. :)

If you post a few pics here, I'll try my best to ID them. I've also got the book by Rik Alvarez which covers pretty much everything from Beast Wars too.

In terms of appraisal, how much do you think these are worth? My friend is an adult collector so he kept all their tails/accessories, etc. in a box, so they should all be complete. No transformation sheet or boxes, but the figures still stand complete.

Thanks again for all your helps (^_^)v

    Wow. Just... wow.

What a great haul! I'm looking for a Terrorsaur myself, but holy crap.

Everything looks good too, and for the most part complete from what I can see.

    Amazing.

I couldn't give you a rough appraisal, but I know Rattrap is worth something, as when the Beast Wars 10th anniversary toys were released, regular Rattrap wasn't amongst them.

I mean, everything looks good, but I would use eBay itself as a reference.

It's all based on the collector I suppose, personally I despise Transmetals, Fuzors, etc. and only desire the original versions of the characters.

You have just about every BW I want, however I'm planning on getting the 10th anniversary versions because they are more show accurate.

But if you want to sell me that Terrorsaur, name your price and we'll go from there. ;)

Most of them aren't going to be incredibly high in value, unfortunately, and it'll still depend on completion and condition. Assuming they're complete and have no defects, you can expect somewhere around $15 for most of the deluxes. The original Blackarachnia and Tigatron will fetch more, doubt the likes of Dinobot, Cheetor, or Rhinox will. Optimal Optimus is common as dirt. People are constantly buying TM Megatron because he's fragile, so it could be a nice return there. TM Primal, not so much.

The most valuable pieces you have are probably the basics. Without a Rattrap or Terrorsaur reissue, the originals are rather popular these days. Might get around $40 each on those! Airazor often goes for $10-14 alone, and Quickstrike a little more than $7, but still sells better than non-show Fuzors.

Transmetal 2 deluxes might as well be worthless, partly thanks to a small number of new molds sold in massive numbers. Chrome wear is also going to be a major factor here and with the TMs. Tigerhawk and Megatron sell decently enough, but neither are particularly rare.

Unfortunately, the rule of thumb with most Hasbro BW toys is that they're rarely worth much more than comparable retail price of today's TFs, at least loose. Some people still care about rock-bubble MISBs and crap, but that won't help you here. Your real saving grace is that aside from Tripredacus, the two-pack, and your two Cybertron stowaways, you have all show characters.

Oh! And you're most welcome! :)

Wow O_O that's a fantastic haul you got there... it's my wet dream haha... and the funny thing is I have most of those anyway.

I usually see Scorponok go for a good amount on eBay, on accounta' I've tried to find one that's in at least good condition with working bee-launching claw... mine's broken in several places :banghead:  .
