So, basically I got 7000 MS points to burn and I want to get fun games for that, first of all I want a fighting game, it's between KOF 98, Marvel Vs Capcom and SF2 HD. I think all three are great games but for me the most important feature is local multiplayer, so you know which of this 3 games support it?

Also been thinking on getting Blacklight tango down, N+, brain challenge, MW2 Map packs, RE4, Assasin's 2, dante's inferno or halo wars game add-ons.

So could you help me pick the best of XBLA?

P.D. I already have castle crashers, geometry wars 2, limbo and toy soldiers

N+ is fun, but will make you want to throw the controller at the tv.

MvC2 and SF II HD Remix are your best bet as far as XBLA fighting games go. I believe these two suit your criteria for multiplayer, but don't quote me as I haven't actually tried. I prefer to play in person for fighting games.

Backlight Tango Down is a poor man's Modern Warfare 2, so a crap version of crap = crap squared :peoples:

You want good XBLA games? My suggestions are:
    Marvel vs. Capcom 2
    Afterburner Climax
    Gunstar Heroes
    Trials HD
    Puzzle Quest 2

N+ is great, and has local multiplayer. other than that i'd say Recall is bang on, but personally i'd swap marvel for street fighter hdr.

At least it offers you the option. I think I remember what Scheme you're talkin' about it. It's probably the Pre-dual stick control schemes for those type of games.

Hey DropShot, nice persona there (ie. Avatar and Sig). Did you see the Medal of Honor trailer with Catalyst?

I didn't see DeathSpank on your list, and that's a fun little game with local multiplayer option. Get the trial and see what you think.

oh, no, vo is set up for dual sticks. that was the big deal about it, but it operates like a tank.

eg, push both sticks up to move forward, left down and right up to turn left, etc.

Ah like the ol' Cybersled Arcade. But you said it has TPS controls too? That's a smart optiont to include.

Bah at playing Virtua On with TPS controls, the whole point of the game is that your piloting a machine rather then just running around like a dude in any other game.

Also, forget you have friends and buy Shadow Complex.

I was going to suggest this one, but I figured since no one had suggested, that my need for reading comprehension had made me miss that, either he had it, or didn't like those kind of games.

Shadow is one of the best games on Live.

    phoey!

i couldn't get my head around it to be honest, i tried :/ probably would have felt natural with the arcade style sticks, not on a pad.

also i was under the impression the whole point of the game was to shoot the other giant robot :/

Nevermind.. I was confus-ed. I confused Virtual On (Still and awesome game) with the Cyber Sled series (hover tanks, four legged robots). That's why I didn't have a problem with the controls.
