Hey guys, Hmmm this is probably a long shot but I'll give it a try. A few years ago (I think 3 or 4) I had this song on my computer. Don't really remember the genre, guess it was kindof a techno/rock blend. It was Transformer themed and full of samples. The song even started with the sample from the movie "It is the year 2005... bla bla" I think I remember the band or group who made it came from Scandinavia but I'm not 100% certain. I know this all sounds kinda vague but I've had the urge to listen to it the past week and I lost the song years ago when my computer died on me. Any leads would be highly appreciated. Thanksssssss!!
i have the heavy death metal version done by a group from Quebec.... but i don't know what one your talking about
Hmm thanks for the reply guys! I'm sure it wasn't one of Tony's mixes and it wasn't the background song on the dancing soundwave (FTW!!!!111) video either... Wheeljaxx, heavy death metal.. Sounds good, I'd love to hear that one, I'll send you a PM
OHHHHHHHHHH I HAVE TO HEAR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What's the name of the band? Can I find their stuff online? The only TF related songs I've got is the Lion version from the movie and some Starscream type beat with samples, Leader of the Future, I think it's called!
FOUND IT!!!!! someone please copy this, or mirror it. http://www.film-exposed.com/images/tfw2005/transformers(metal).mp3
Argh! I can't get it to work. I tried downloading it and also just playing it, it says Windows Media Player will not support the format. What should I open it with?
Okay, this is where stupid WMPlayer and Microsoft sent me: http://www.wmplugins.com/UnavailableItem.aspx?codec=6D2E Real helpful, right? Then, I found this page using google a search for "6D2E": http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/13662p1.html So, I took their advice and used Quicktime and now I'm listening to it. Pretty interesting stuff, wheeljaxx! Not sure where you got it or why the hell nobody knows what this bizarre "6D2E" format is, but I got it to work, so what do I care, right?
funny, i didn't do anything to it. it's a simple MP3. i use itunes to play it, and for some reason, it loads with quicktime online. just click and save as, .MP3 and it SHOULD work.
Is it the Powerman 5000 remix of "When Worlds Collide"? I remember a version with some scenes from the movie mixed in.
So uh, I'm sure it's been posted before ... but uh, is there an actual audio clip of the Dancing Soundwave music?
Triformis to the rescue! Ahhhhh this rules! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! And of course a special thanks to Wheeljaxx for posting this! Who is the band?
If noone posts a linkage to that by tomorrow, I can rip it from the video for ya, without any loss of quality.
Oh come on, that was great! Much better than the million rap versions out there, finally a metal song!
