So I got my new soundwave mp3, and ripped the songs to my computer with windows media player. And a few songs that were in my collection as well. So I go and try to listen to them on my Soundwave MP3, and I only hear a couple songs on there, the other songs that are WMP files won't play as music...

Now my question towards assistance is, is there a way I can change the format if all the songs to something like winamp or Itunes without having to go back through all the trouble of reloading the songs?

Winamp has plug-ins for writing MP3s.

From what I can see through my winamp, it says I need to purchase winamp Pro? Why does everything revolve around spending more money to get stuff done... Or is there a way to do so without doing that?

thats the thing I hate about WMP, they wont do MP3s, its damn joke. And for Winamp you need the updates.

But if you have Nero or Music jukebox you can convert your CD songs to MP3s. If you have a trial version of Music Jukebox it wont let you Rip at the maximuim rate unless you got a serial number for the upgrade.

Well, I found this WMA to MP3 download program with a 14 day trial, so that may work just as good?

    EDIT: It did work great.
