Check this out: http://www.thecoverproject.net/index.php These guys started out doing custom GBA covers for DS cases about a year ago, and since then have moved on to pretty much every game system out there. They do official inserts for replacements, and a lot of people do custom ones that are really good. The big project they're working on now is Dreamcast inserts for DVD cases. And in their forums they've got printing guides and places to purchase official replacement cases (like DS ones from Nintendo). EDIT: Here's what some of their work looks like: Dreamcast DVD case insert GBA DS case insert
yeah i used that for link's crossbow training and wii sports... i think it was that site anyway, that or something similar. i just stole a couple white cases from my daughter's barbie movies and replaced them with generic black ones... she never even noticed either
If I had a decent printer I'd be all over those Godzilla, Metroid, Zelda, Mario Galaxy and Wii Sports covers. Seeing these made me realise. Euro packaging is crap, US packaging ftw!.
i think some of the PAL covers look alright...some of the resident evil ones are great and some nice work on the custom ones..............i need to find a good printer
there used to be another one that had custom covers...cdcovers i think it was called (dont know if they still are active)...that's where i got my WiiSports cover...
Was there one before "Ace Attorney"? Because they have one for that game right here: http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?game_id=710
Love the Cover Project (although I am without a printer right now so my GBA games wait for their boxes). I've done several covers for them myself, a couple originals and a bunch of customs (with more in the works).
Cool site. I've been needing a cover for Beyond Good and Evil for a while (stupid Gamestop generic used game cover) and should get one (and a DVD case) for Wii Sports. Right now, the game is in its cardboard sleeve inside Mario Galaxy's case. Looking around at the custom covers, I started thinking that it would be cool to upgrade some of my PS1 games to DVD cases. It would be sweet to display all of the PS1 Final Fantasy games together in the same style package alongside the PS2 games. But unless I can buy DVD cases designed for multiple discs, that's 15 cases.
These guys: http://www.sleevetown.com/, pretty much have every type of case known to modern man (minus any proprietary ones, i.e. DS, PSP, etc.)
I get a batch of those double sized CD cases from bro-in-law and love them; it helps me keep multidisc games or game lines together- like i keep my Medal of Honor games, GTA's, Resident Evil's together that way. i wish he'd send me some multi-disc DVD cases, but he hoards those, i think.
