alright soooo i was making a LSOTW Impactor. but got a head that was way to small. i ended up using that head on a different body to make Impactor. soo this whole project got scrapped. but now im revisiting the body and i remade the hip joints. this guy is based off of Joey_Santana's Impactor. but now.. i need a new character to make from him. OR leave him as impactor, ill just need to make or find a good head for him. im thinking that id like him to be decepticon. and maybe a character from the LSOTW. the choices iv got so far for heads are: - Impactor - ill just need to find a new head - Aramada Demolisher - i can add shoulder missiles to make him kind of like the WFC version. or just use the head for a new character. - Cybertron Thundercracker - yeah i dont have any clue on a character. i just like the head. - Armada Hoist - Reminds me of Dinobot from beast wars, but im not sure if it fits the body too well. - Movie 07 Hoist - i LOVE the head, but it seems a little small, and also seems to warpath like. which actually could work but not sure. - any other suggestion.. (NOT METROPLEX!!) and heres the vehicle mode. kinda ehh. but ill be adding a way to put some more treads on the back. and ill add some sort of cannon. the vehicle mode is why i wanna make it more like the wreckers cause it looks cybertronian. now i just need you guys to vote on a head, or give me a head i can search for. AND a character to base this guy off of
for some reason with the Cybertron Thundercracker head it looks like a deluxe size Metroplex. i say go with that
i need a good head tho! haha and i then id wanna reshape the chest to make it more acurate. AND im really liking the way demolisher looks now that i took that pic with the missiles haha. gaah! haha
FOR ALL YOU IMPACTOR VOTERS! sense you guys wanna see this turn into impactor, can any of you help with a head? at least a good base for me to work with. i plan to buy some apoxie slupt soon.
Hahahah, the head dilemma once again! Recently I bought a Spartan Lego mini figure which I'm planning to take the helmet off and transform into a decent IDW Impactor head to switch on my figure. This is the figure. http://www.collectibleminifigs.com/series2/images/spartan.jpg I'm now trying to put some face inside of it, and to adapt a ball joint, which is the most dificult thing to do as I'm to lazy to try sculpting one out of epoxy. Also I hate epoxy as I don't have skills enough to sculpt. I'll try to take some pictures as soon I get it done.
i know! heads... always what hold my projects back! -___- well most of the time thats what hold them back ahha i dont have a problem sculpting a helmet like that, im good with sculpting. never really worked with sculpting on transformers, but i have made small things out of ceramics. i just need a decent tf head to start sculpting on. the RTS perceptor head looked PERFECT.. but its WAY too small for this body. i was soo upset.
The body and possible altmode scream Metroplex but with some rounding that Armada Hoist head could make a great Impactor!

im thinking that this figure would make a definite better version of impactor than the one im already working on using the Skullgrin mold so im gonna give it some time, and if i cant find a good head to make impactor. ill make him into demolisher

Hey, great styrene work man! A bit too wide though, but still impressive. Know what? Make these two as Impactor, once you finish you decide who stays who goes to ebay.
